With a full calendar of events in 2023 there’s always something new to enjoy.
In February half term special guest and Strictly Come Dancing winner Hamza Yassin will join us for the Wild Science Safari.
The Really Wild Easter Trail, available from 1st to 18th April, is an Easter Egg Hunt with an EGGSTRASPECIAL Chester Zoo twist. Will you be able to find the 6 giant eggs, each showcasing an amazing egg producing animal and crack the secret code?
A chocolate treat is available for everyone who takes up the challenge and the fun is included with group admission prices.
From May visitors can venture into the mythical depths of Planet Shark, a fully immersive experience created & produced by Grande Experiences of Australia.
Over the summer we are holding Into the Night, where the full zoo, including animal houses, indoor areas, restaurants, entertainers and puppeteers will be available until 8pm.
Towards the end of the year will be our October Half Term Halloween Trail. And in December our festive light spectacular, The Lanterns, is back!
2023 – Our biggest year for groups yet!
In March we will be launching our brand new Group Packages, filled with itineraries and activities only available to group bookers.
The Guided Tour Package offers zoo admission plus an expedition with our Safari Rangers who will provide fun facts and insights into the rare and endangered species you can find at Chester Zoo. The package can be upgraded to include Cream Tea and prices start from £16.00 per adult.
The Into the Night Group Package includes day admission to the zoo followed by full access to the evening event until 8.00pm. It is available on selected days this summer, with prices starting from £25.00 per adult.
Chester Zoo Highlights
Whatever time of year you’re planning your Chester Zoo group visit you are sure to have a wonderful time. Highlights include Monsoon Forest, Asiatic Lions, Madagascar and the Latin American Wetland Avery.
We’re fully accessible and offer children’s play areas, animal talks, a Lazy River Boat Trip, shopping and dining.
