STUART LINE CRUISES RELEASE 2022 DATES FOR THEIR EVER-POPULAR EXETER CANAL CRUISE

Stuart Line Cruises’ Exeter Canal Cruise runs only a handful of times per year and has become widely known within the Group Travel Industry as one of the very best excursions in Devon, with many operators securing their spaces for the heavily oversubscribed boat trip as early as possible.

This very special event offers a relaxing cruise between Exmouth and the Cathedral City of Exeter along Europe’s oldest working ship canal and with the addition of a traditional Devon Cream Tea, guarantees a truly unique selling point for tours heading to popular beauty spots in the South West including Exmouth, Torbay, Sidmouth and Exeter.

Family-run and quality-assured Stuart Line Cruises are proud to be widely considered the best boat tour operator in Devon – a popular opinion which was confirmed at the recent British Coach Tourism Awards, at which they were crowned winners of the ‘Best Inland and River Cruise Operator in the UK 2020’.

Following an 18-month wait due to the COVID_19 pandemic, the British Coach Tourism Awards 2020 finally took place at the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham on Wednesday 22nd September 2021. The prestigious ceremony brought together 500+ people representing the finest businesses within the group travel industry from across the UK for an evening of triumph, as friends and colleagues were reunited in celebration of the recovery of group travel.

The British Coach Tourism Awards is the only awards scheme dedicated to coach tourism and being a winner means that Stuart Line Cruises are nationally recognised as being among the highest quality businesses within the sector – demonstrating dedication, commitment, and adaptability to welcoming coaches and groups to their popular attraction – a mantra which the company have consistently upheld throughout the COVID_19 pandemic.

Lauren from Stuart Line Cruises commented:

Group Travel has always and will always be incredibly important to us. We have worked hard over the years to build good relationships with operators and our aim over the past two years has been to support the industry in every way possible – we hope that our welcoming approach has helped to ease some of the many challenges which operators have faced. We are aware that not all attractions have adopted this approach but to us this seems ludicrous – we have valued their support in the past and hope to continue to work together in the future and there is no doubt that we are stronger together. We are thrilled to have received this award.”

Jake Stuart added:

“The past two years have been extremely tough on the tourism and leisure industry as a whole and only in the last few months have things really started to look more positive for visitors, as people regain their confidence in travelling to and holidaying in the region. We pride ourselves on our commitment to offering bespoke and personal experiences for groups and to be recognised with this national award speaks volumes and offers a huge sense of achievement not only for us as a business but for tourism across the South West.”

Lauren from Stuart Line Cruises very much looks forward to meeting face-to-face with wholesalers, operators and suppliers at the next Coach Tourism Association event in Liverpool, after what has felt like a very long time since we last met in York!
