Hull Street Life Museum houses over 200 years of transport history spread across six galleries immersing visitors into a world of bicycles, carriages, motorcars, railways and street life throughout the years. Highlights include the cobbled 1940 High Street and the 1898 Panhard et Levassor Motor Wagonette - the first vehicle built specifically as a car.
At the Hull and East Riding Museum of Archaeology, 235 million years of history have been brought to life. From majestic mammoths to Saxon invaders, 2300 year old Hasholme Boat and Roos Carr Figures dating back to 600 BC, which featured in the main Summer Exhibition of 2022 at the British Museum as part of the UK's first major exhibition on Stonehenge.
