Each room is unique, with decor inspired by the heritage of the 900 year
old building and its place within the Hereford.
In each room is a flat-screen TV, fresh fluffy towels and environmentally
sensitive toiletries, with our 24-hour Reception team always available.
Location
The hotel is located in the heart of Hereford, and is less than a two hour
drive from Birmingham, Bristol and Cardiff. There is privately owned
parking available at the back of the Hotel.
There is plenty to see in Hereford, including the Mappa Mundi, the last
known medieval map to exist. It is on display in the beautiful Cathedral,
less than a five minute walk from the Green Dragon.
Herefordshire is home to Chase, the British field to bottle distillery,
committed to making luxury spirits inspired by and using ingredients
grown on the Chase home farm. Chase gins and vodka can be sampled
at the hotel.
Hereford offers some of the best independent shops. Located on Church
Street, between the Cathedral and East Street, there are lovely clothes
shops, as well as French style cafe, La Madeleine, and health food
store, Fodder.
