Bournemouth is bursting with festive fun and magical entertainment this Christmas.
It all starts with the Pavilion’s traditional pantomime, super skate rink ‘Cool Coast’ and then ‘That’ll be the Day’ (a Christmas cracker of a stage show)…all wrapped up with Christmas Tree Wonderland, an enchanting light installation in the Victorian Lower Gardens.
This year’s pantomime ‘Beauty and the Beast’ is headed up by EastEnders favourite Emma Barton playing ‘Fairy Bon Bon’, she is joined by a Pavilion favourite Noel Broadie as ‘Louis La Plonk’ and Jamie Steen as ‘Polly La Plonk’.
Playing at the Pavilion 3rd December – 2nd January with fantastic costumes, sets, slapstick comedy and a sprinkle of magic get ready to laugh, shout, sing, cheer and BOOOOOOOOO!! Group bookings and discounts are available.
For one night only ‘That’ll Be The Day Christmas Show’ takes you on a nostalgic seasonal sleigh ride with a magical mix of Christmas pop classics and traditional festive songs, boasting brilliant vocals, hilarious sketches and superb impersonations it’s simply a must see!
On at the Bournemouth International Centre Sunday 18th December, group discounts available.
Back for the winter ‘Cool Coast Skate Rink’ is the only full-sized rink on the south coast – set in an alpine woodland there’s also a selection of delicious food and beverages from the bar, great for spectators or an after skate treat. Skates are available to hire as are extra penguin supports for younger skaters. Sessions last 90mins (an hour on the ice with time to change) and group ticket discounts for skaters are available.

The bow on top of Bournemouth’s festivities is Christmas Tree Wonderland 18th November – 2nd January – a free of charge magical light festival. Set in the award-winning Victorian Lower Gardens highlights include a festive trail and 60ft centrepiece walk through Wonderland Tree!
