Group Tours
A festive tour, with Radio Lancashire’s John Barnes, showcases Samlesbury Hall’s unique historic charms at this special time of year.
Revel in the atmospheric Hall, dressed for a traditional Christmas, and steeped in history and mystery.
Guided by local historian, John Barnes, he’ll share with you the enchanting history, stories and secrets of Christmases past at
Samlesbury Hall. Tours last approximately 90 minutes and cost £8 per person.
Why not finish off your visit with a delicious homemade mince pie and a warming cup of mulled wine from the Heritage Café or how about a delightful festive Christmas lunch…
Christmas Lunch
Samlesbury Hall invites you and your group to join us for a festive celebration with a sumptuous Christmas lunch in the impressive Great Hall – bring together your group to celebrate Christmas in style with a delicious 2 or 3 course menu.
It wouldn’t be Christmas without turkey so Samlesbury Hall’s resident head chef will be firing up the ovens to serve Roast Turkey Breast with all the Christmas trimmings. For those who prefer the vegan option, Root Vegetable Tian with Glazed Parsnips and Carrots, Roasties, Sprouts and Gravy will be on offer!

During our Christmas period, all groups are required to pay a non-refundable booking fee of £60 within 14 days of making your booking with full payment required 14 days before their visit.
Please be aware that the minimum group size during Christmas 20 visitors.
