Immerse yourself at Coldharbour Mill this Christmas time as we bring the industrial revolution to life. Largely untouched since Victorian times Coldharbour today remains in production using heritage looms, wool spinning machines, power sources and machinery to produce beautiful yarns and textiles.
Recognised by Historic England as “Probably one of the best-preserved textile mill complexes in the country,” visitors can explore how introducing steam and water power proved to be the turning point in history – revolutionising not only textile production but every part of daily life.

When can you visit Coldharbour Mill this Christmas?
Our Christmas group
visits are available from the 16thth November to 15th
December 2022 and are available throughout the week.
Thursdays are our
production Days when our fantastic team of volunteers show you what life would
have been like for Mill workers and how our heritage machinery still works to
this day.
Want to upgrade your
visit and experience Coldharbour Mill VIP style? Visit us on a Monday or

COLDHARBOUR'S CANDLELIT CHRISTMAS STEAM DAY
Sunday 27th November | 10.30am-4.30pm
Enjoy Coldharbour Mill by candlelight and enjoy a glass of mulled wine as we welcome in the Christmas Spirit.
You will be able to keep
warm by our 110 year old Lancashire boiler and feel the coal-glow as you tour
the steam complex. Explore our working factory floor as we continue production
through the day. With local carol singers performing in the Mill Yard
throughout the event to get us all in the festive mood.
